Potential first sightings

An interesting thing happened today.

I was walking, minding my own affairs when I found the calling card of everyones favorite impeccably dressed gentleman. And while our mystery man himself was no where to be seen I couldn't help but catch the feeling that I was being watched.

But it is strange, my associates haven't gone insane, they aren't pulling away from reality, and like I said I haven't actually seen our friend himself.

I wonder if this is the start of something horrid for me, or if I have managed to find a piece of a puzzle meant for someone else.

So many questions. So little answers.

....or perhaps, am I not asking the right questions?

A great game.

Rules.

Our world is run in accordance to a vast series of rules. The Laws of physics.
One piece can act in a certain fashion, cause certain results. This is an undeniable fact. Without these rules our reality would simply not exist. It would be nothing but formless chaos, all powerful and utterly powerless.

Certain creatures,events, and phenomena, seem to function outside of established rules.
This of course makes it seem as if the rules are being broken. But are they?

As we strive forward learning more and more about the world we live in scientists have discovered that many previous "facts" are in truth, false.

So with that in mind are these paranormal entities truly breaking any rules, or are they merely acting on a different portion of the rules that we as humans do not yet have access to?

Just something to think about.
